David, A Man After God’s Own Heart
“The seminar with Ken Wilson really touched me. Ken showed us David’s life in context—a context that most of us Christians face sooner or later. It is important to have the right stance toward our challenges. I also learned that, just as David spent time in the wilderness I too need to spend some time in it before God. God sent people like Samuel, Jonathan, Abigail and Nathan to David to help and influence him. I also need the people God sends into my life. The seminar was meaty and I will continue, with God’s help, to chew on what I learned.”

The Men’s Conference

The Women’s Conference
God is Mighty and Sovereign. The team of women from Christ Community Church arrived just in time for the conference. Everyone helped out to make the conference work despite a snowstorm. We spent 24 hours together thinking over the idea that God has equipped us to help the women around us. We learned how to use our natural feminine abilities to build relationships in a way that the discussions we have will guide us together into God’s presence and away from the lies in our lives and toward the healing truth of God’s Word. We found some time to relax and have quality conversations with friends. “A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.” (Proverbs 25:11)
